A Study Highlights the Impact of the Long-term Use of Crestor, a Statin, on the Heart
The Crestor Study
The primary objective of the study was to compare the long-term use of Crestor with the placebo in the long-term treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) and non-AF patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). The primary end point was the difference in the mean change from baseline of the lowest known dose of Crestor in the 24 weeks preceding the study and the 24 weeks subsequent to the study. The secondary end points were the percentage of patients with a change from baseline in the lowest dose of Crestor in the 24 weeks preceding the study and the number of patients on statin therapy in the 24 weeks subsequent to the study. The study was double-blinded, the number of patients on statin therapy was small, and the analysis was performed without the need for the intervention. At the end of the study, patients taking the statin had a mean dose of 3.2 mg of Crestor compared with 5.5 mg of the placebo. This difference was not statistically significant (p = 0.25).
Study Conclusion
The Crestor study provides important evidence that the long-term use of statin therapy is associated with a decrease in the mean dose of Crestor in the 24 weeks preceding the study and the 24 weeks subsequent to the study. The mean dose of Crestor remained constant throughout the study and the mean dose of the other drug was 6.2 mg of Crestor. The results of the study provide a basis for the use of Crestor in patients with CHD.
We used data from the first phase III trial to evaluate the long-term use of statin therapy in patients with atrial fibrillation. The study showed that patients taking Crestor had a reduction in the mean dose of Crestor in the 24 weeks preceding the study and the 24 weeks subsequent to the study. The mean dose of Crestor in the 24 weeks preceding the study was 6.2 mg, which was not statistically significant (p = 0.25). In patients with AF, the mean dose of Crestor remained constant throughout the study and the mean dose of the other drug remained the same. In addition, the mean dose of Crestor was 7.7 mg in patients with AF. These results indicate that the use of Crestor has an impact on the mean dose of Crestor in the 24 weeks preceding the study and the 24 weeks subsequent to the study.
A study has been published that evaluated the use of statins in patients with atrial fibrillation. The study included patients with AF, who were treated with a single dose of 40 mg of Crestor, and those taking an additional 40 mg of Crestor per day. The patients were treated with the 40 mg Crestor once a day for a total of 10 weeks. The mean duration of treatment was 8.5 weeks, with the mean number of days that the patients received treatment was 12.8. These results were statistically significant at the 12-week, 24-week and 48-week time points, which were consistent with the results of a previous study. These results demonstrate that the use of Crestor in patients with atrial fibrillation remains an important benefit over the use of other statins.
The use of Crestor in patients with AF is associated with a decrease in the mean dose of Crestor in the 24 weeks preceding the study and the 24 weeks subsequent to the study. This result indicates that the use of Crestor has an impact on the mean dose of Crestor in patients with AF.
This is the first study that evaluated the long-term use of statin therapy in patients with atrial fibrillation. The results of the study demonstrated that the use of Crestor has an impact on the mean dose of Crestor in the 24 weeks preceding the study and the 24 weeks subsequent to the study. The results of this study demonstrated that the use of Crestor has an impact on the mean dose of Crestor in patients with AF.

Crestor works by reducing a certain enzyme within the body that produces cholesterol. It belongs to a class of medications called statins.
Cholesterol is a form of lipid, a waxy substance that helps your body make cells, vitamins, and certain hormones. It is not inherently bad. Your liver produces an enzyme that synthesizes cholesterol to help with the above healthy functions. Additional cholesterol is introduced to the body through certain foods like meat, poultry, and dairy products.
There are two types of cholesterol: high-density lipoproteins (HDLs) and low-density lipoproteins (LDLs). LDLs carry cholesterol throughout the body, delivering cholesterol to cells that need it. HDLs carry excess LDLs back to the liver, where they are broken down and flushed from the body. While LDLs play a key role in cell health, they build up when the body has more cholesterol than the cells need. This buildup turns into plaque in the arteries (blood vessels). As plaque covers the artery walls, the blood vessels become narrow. This makes it harder for blood to flow through the body, which can lead to heart disease and heart failure.
Statins work by reducing the production of cholesterol in the liver, which lowers the overall cholesterol levels in the body. Not only do statins decrease levels of LDLs in the body, but they can also raise the level of HDLs in the body. In effect, they keep the body from making too much of the “bad” cholesterol that builds up in arteries while increasing the amount of “good” cholesterol that carries the “bad” out of the body. This dual action has been shown, along with diet and exercise, to lower overall cholesterol levels in patients effectively.

This product is a little different. I've moved the head of the stat pill to the side and put a little on it. My wife and I can't get the stat pill up the head down the side. She takes it about half an hour before she wants it. She doesn't like the way it's going. She's not very concerned. The pill does work, and I've got her on it. She likes that! So, I've put the pill on the side of the head down the side, and put a little on it. She doesn't like it, so it works. It's a little strange having to put the stat pill in half. I don't want it to work. It does work for us. But, it does not work for her. So, I'm going to put the pill on the side of the head down the side. I've put it in a small pocket, and put the stat pill in the same pocket as with her. She does not like that!
